Here’s a cute idea for treats or for a child’s birthday party. The ice cream cones are teeny, tiny – about 1-.75″ tall (Joy Kids Cones from Walmart).
A cookie scoop or small melon baller is used to form the ice cream from the Rice Krispie mixture, then drizzled with melted almond bark or candy melts. To make the cones more stable, you can put some candy in the cone, then use the candy melts to “glue” the scoop to the cone. See tutorial at Cute As a Fox.

These simple candle centerpieces are easy to create for 4th of July or Memorial Day. Start with a small hurricane for individual one candle centerpieces or a large hurricane to hold several candles. Fill the hurricane with a single color or any combination of red, white or blue beads, sand, marbles or pebbles. Shred your used gift wrap to use as gift box lining or colorful shred. Line your shredder with a plastic bag to store your shred. Fold or cut your wrapping paper to size to fit through your shredder first, then shred away.
